# Stacknaut > A production-ready SaaS starter kit and AI coding agent workflow for solo developers shipping owned TypeScript apps on Hetzner with Kamal 2. ## What is Stacknaut? Stacknaut is a code starter kit for solo developers and indie hackers building SaaS products with AI coding agents. It provides a production-tested app stack, deployment path, infrastructure repo, and agent configuration so the coding agent works inside a real repo instead of generating isolated snippets. Stacknaut sells source-code access and setup help. The starter kit itself includes subscription billing code that buyers can use in their own SaaS. ## Stack - Frontend: Vue 3 + Vite + Tailwind CSS + shadcn-vue - Backend: Fastify + Node.js + TypeScript - API: Fastify + Node.js + TypeScript (separate service) - Database: PostgreSQL 16 + Drizzle ORM - Deployment: Kamal 2 + Docker + Caddy - Infrastructure: Terraform + Hetzner Cloud ## Included Features - Authentication: Magic link email login + Google Sign-In - Billing: Stripe subscriptions, checkout, billing portal, webhooks - Email: Postmark transactional email - Analytics: PostHog integration - Storage: Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible) - Logging: Vector + BetterStack - Notifications: Telegram bot for admin alerts - Deployment: One-command deploy with auto-detection of changed services - Infrastructure: Terraform configs for Hetzner Cloud provisioning - AI Agent: AGENTS.md for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Factory Droid, and Cursor; custom commands and skills for supported CLI agents - SEO: pre-rendered public pages, sitemap, route metadata, Open Graph metadata, and analytics breadcrumbs ## Deliverables Stacknaut customers get access to 3 private GitHub repositories: 1. App repository - full source code for the SaaS starter kit 2. Terraform repository - Hetzner infrastructure provisioning 3. Agent setup repository - AI coding agent configuration with AGENTS.md, skills, commands, and onboarding flow After purchase, Stripe collects the buyer email. The buyer returns to the pricing page, enters a GitHub username, and Stacknaut sends private repo invitations plus a Getting Started email. ## Onboarding The onboarding flow starts in the agent-setup repo: 1. Tell the coding agent to read `setup-guide.md` and configure the global agent setup. 2. Say "Onboard me" to start the wizard. 3. The wizard clones the app repo, configures the project name/domain/integrations, installs dependencies, sets environment variables, sets up the database, runs the app locally, and orients the buyer to build the first feature. 4. When ready, say "Set up Hetzner" to provision infrastructure and "Set up deployment" to configure DNS, Kamal, and the first deploy. 5. Later deploys use "Deploy". ## Documentation Public docs live under `/docs`: - `/docs` - getting started, local development, environment variables, database, architecture, integrations, deployment, AI agent setup, SEO, and analytics. - `/docs/ai-agent-config` - AGENTS.md, global agent config, custom commands, skills, supported tools, and setup flow. - `/docs/auth` - magic link login, Google Sign-In, JWT sessions, user schema, Postmark setup, and auth files. - `/docs/billing` - Stripe Checkout, subscription webhooks, billing portal, subscription state, and billing setup included in the starter app. - `/docs/deployment` - Kamal 2 deploy flow, smart deploy script, zero-downtime deploys, frontend pre-rendering, Caddy, Postgres, and Vector. - `/docs/full-stack-typescript` - Vue, Fastify, API service, shared package, Drizzle schemas, path aliases, and TypeScript data flow. - `/docs/infrastructure` - Terraform Hetzner server provisioning, cloud-init, firewall, fail2ban, SSH hardening, and Kamal handoff. ## Pricing Starter kit packages are one-time purchases: - Kit: $199 one-time.
